The Virginia Fire Chiefs Association is pleased to announce registration is now open for the 2016 Virginia Fire Rescue Conference being held in Virginia Beach – February 24-28, 2016. This years conference includes a large selection of training/ certification opportunities. Some of these include – NFPA 1031 re-certification hours, Hazardous materials re-certification hours, Chief Officer 101, Basic PIO, NFPA 1033 re-certification hours, Shakers forum, a wide variety of leadership/management training sessions, Company Officers symposium(sessions open to all attendees) , numerous safety related training sessions, a full day of EMS specific training topics, several HOT classes being provided for those who like the hands on training and a wide array of other training sessions too numerous to list. The 2016 Conference will also include a full Virginia Beach Convention Center exhibit floor of vendors that will have new equipment and innovative technology on display.
